Not really. There is e.g. et mannfolk (a man), et kvinnfolk (a woman), et fruentimmer (a woman).

Bra, men "bjørn" er hankjønn, så det heter en bjørn. Forøvrig er Bjørn et veldig vanlig guttenavn i Norge.

(Good, but 'bjørn' is masculine, so the correct is en bjørn. Btw, Bjørn is a very common boys' name in Norway.)

As I see it, "å motta" is a bit more formal than "å få".
