"Cxu lupoj bojas je la luno?"

...but the 'al' in the course answer, "Ĉu lupoj bojas al la luno?", seems dubious.

Surely there is a better way to express this.
...and is my sentence with 'je' really incorrect?

Not sure what DuoLingo didn't like about that translation, but I've reported that it should have been accepted.

To capture the 'well-known' part we'd need something like "Li estas tre konata aktoro."
