Your duolingo forum registration isn't automaticaly transferred to duome forum so in order to join duome forums you need to register with your existing or any other username and email; in any case it's advised that you choose a new password for the forum.

Duolingo was -60 million in profits in 2021. Babble was originally using the freemium model and many other language learning apps have been too. The issue with a freemium model is that ads don't generate enough revenue to be profitable. Duolingo is unsustainable and if they don't change things event...
