Re: Разговорная практика...
Сейчас всё что касается моей идеи тут, упёрлось в количество пользователей. Выборку неоткуда взять. Можно обдумать идею, придти к какой-нибудь версии, а потом запостить здесь же на форуме опрос для изучающих целевой язык: типа, готовы ли вы принять участие в блаблабла? --- Из игр, пожалуй, есть куч...

Re: Typing the œ ligature
I had a similar problem with umlauts for German. First I installed the German keyboard layout, but it made me confused sometimes (I had three layouts). So in the end I wrote a script for Autohotkey which wasn't perfect but it worked. For those using Autohotkey here's the script: #InstallKeybdHook #U...

Re: Language features
My favorite thing from English is 'un'+verb, like 'undo', 'unbreak', 'unfold' etc. It's simple and quite usefull ) As for Japanese I would take their relative clauses. The word order here depends more on topicality/focus rather than grammatical role of nou...

Re: The cost of fluency? See how much it'll cost to become fluent
I'd say that considering the most common understanding of 'fluency' there is a surprisingly large number of people who got fluent without leaving their country. And of course there are some language maniacs who even got to the native level somehow... As for paying for your education, I think it depe...

Re: Разговорная практика...
Ммм... кто-то здесь нырнул в кроличью нору? )) Была еще такая штука как ФРПГ (форумная РПГ). Но это уже будет практика письменного языка, коей итак, вроде, много... Вообще, если речь идет об около-базовом уровне - VR-chat мог бы быть полезен (можно просто тыкать в какой-нибудь объект пальцем и дават...
