Sorry for my late reply. What I was referring to with "n-Wort" is that in many languages negation words start with n, e.g. in German: nein, nicht, nichts, niemand, nie, niemals, nirgends.

Same here (Spanish from English, too). None for several months, then quite a few during the last one or two weeks. And those are very old suggestions I can't really remember.

May I add a correction? There's one error you made several times, so I don't think it's a typo:

To murder is ermorden, without the second r.

Kassiber ist übrigens laut Duden maskulin, es müsste also eigentlich wohl "Einen Kassiber schmuggeln" heißen.

@John238922, quite interesting, it took me some time to follow your thought, but would this distinction really work in practice?

Kassiber gehört auch eher nicht zu meinem aktivem Wortschatz. Immerhin hatte ich eine vage Erinnerung, was das sein könnte (Krimis?), aber ich denke, das Wort ist im Verschwinden begriffen.

As far as I know, it is not strictly mandatory to use a redundant indirect object pronoun along with indirect objects, but it seems so perfectly common to do it that it may sound unusual or unnatural if you drop it.

But, on the other hand, things deeply buried in my memory sonetimes popped up again, e.g. in a community garden project when I met a Spanish speaker, a lot of vocabulary emerged that I kind of didn't even know I knew it.

Thank you for the additional explanation about singular/plural. The original post used singular, but later in the discussion someone said that it should be plural.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough about this, but I wasn't focused on how to change my keyboard, but rather on what people typically would do if they can't or don't know how.
