Re: Does anyone have "old" Tips pages saved?

Stasia, Thank you so much!! This helps. I am not sure, but I may be able to progress in the old version -- which is so much better for an adult learner -- at least for my learning style. We'll see how long this is still accessible. A few months ago I asked about the Bokmål dictionary and I was able ...

Does anyone have "old" Tips pages saved?

As I started learning Bokmål thru Duolingo, I printed out copies of each "Tips" page as I progressed through the program. I would like to get the rest of the Tips pages as I continue to progress -- they are very helpful. I have all of them through Section 4 unit 16 -- "Compare 3"...

New version of Duolingo Norwegian

A couple days ago I had a window pop up about "new and improved" Bokmål. After having gone through a few lessons and reviews -- yuck!! I wish I could go back and not have these "new changes". They are most likely aimed at the school groups using this as a language course -- parti...

Are these words interchangeable?

I was reviewing Section 3 Unit 3: Determiners 2. In the Vocab. list for this lesson are: sånn slik The translations are almost identical. What determines which word is used when? I haven't been able to figure that out based on the sentences. I wish my English teachers had spent more class time on gr...

Re: Some help/explanations requested

Olav,
Thanks -- my Norwegian is not advanced enough to fully understand what you posted, but I'll keep working on it.
Can you explain what this means:
"ferdes el. ferdedes"
Unfortunately my lack of knowledge of grammar English and Norwegian is an ongoing problem.

Some help/explanations requested

In the current Section 3 unit 10 (Endings) there is a sentence "Alle dager er like, synes jeg." Under "Discussion" for this sentence Linhars offered a list of common verbs ending in "s". The list includes conjugations but no explanations. I have figured out past tense, ...

Re: Norwegian Dictionary

This link was working. I used it until about 2 weeks ago. I was out of town and just came back. Now the link takes me to the Duolingo Norwegian page. Does this mean the Norwegian/English dictionary is gone?
Thanks in advance for any help forthcoming

Norwegian Dictionary

I know that prior to the loss of the forums that the Norwegian English dictionary was accessed through the Forum page. Does anyone know if it still exists and how to access it? Or was it lost along with the forum?
Thanks
