Your duolingo forum registration isn't automaticaly transferred to duome forum so in order to join duome forums you need to register with your existing or any other username and email; in any case it's advised that you choose a new password for the forum.

Yes, same results on mobile app and the web portal ("there is no Duolingo account associated with [email]. Please try again.").

Computer is on Windows 10 and mobile app was tried on Android 14 on both a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and a Google Pixel 7.
