Re: English Tense

@ararat-tempest So like "before", "after", "later" something like that? Do the adverbs attach to the verbs or are they separate words?

ילדים means either boys or children as long as there is at least one boy in the group otherwise it would be ילדות.

alright, Indonesian or Malay never thought about verb tense. we Chinese too.
but I prefer verbs with tense system tbh, you can express yourself more clearly.

No tense at all? You must have to infer a lot?

Do you think so? It seems to me like a very old and decrepit bird :(

Re: XP no more?

It would be great if they moved away from xp IMO. But I'm not sure if daily number of lessons will be better? Daily lessons vary in difficulty. XP has the same problem when it comes to earning it too. geohough I've merged your two topics about this together. It's possible this may be an A/B test.

How would you translate this?

Here's a picture of Japanese and English. Would you translate it differently? The sincerely isn't usually a word one would put there. Is it equivalent to a different word in English? Does it reflect an element of Japanese language that we don't have in English?

I'm wondering how many people have taken the Hebrew course to legendary? I'm working on it but it's intense. It certainly shores up your understanding of grammar concepts and vocabulary if you don't use the word bank. I still try to stop the test and restart if I get 3 mistakes even though I have a ...

Re: Your reason for duolingo?

@Jokr1929 That's a really good question! I was wondering that myself, why are people learning languages? Like is it because they're moving to another country, part of their education, are they traveling or do they just love languages?

Myself: I want to learn Hebrew and I love languages!
